Intro Again

Just a quick note to say I'm doing intro again. I've been considering it for a while. This morning I woke up after another miserable night and just decided to go for it.

So easy! Only me. I ate only chicken soup all day. It was so yummy and so satisfying. I added a little sauerkraut juice to my last bowl of soup this evening. I plan to eat soup all day tomorrow. I might add an egg yolk to a bowl of soup, if all goes well. Sounds delicious.

Boy have I changed. All of this was so disgusting to me only 18 months ago and now I love it! Chicken pate (blended skins and soft tissues) really do make they soup so delicious and satisfying.

I made some other soup, but I think I may stick with chicken soup for at least another day or two.

The surprising thing was that I was able to serve a large variety of other foods to my children without being tempted by any of it. Hmm. I wonder what tomorrow will be like?

How much probiotic should I start with? How fast will I be able to increase it? So many questions.

Gotta go to bed.

  1. I stumbled upon your blog today while researching GAPS. Wow! Thank you for sharing this journey! I read your entire blog. I gave up the internet for Lent with the exception of preparing for the GAPS diet. Anyway, I'm so glad I found your blog. My little guy is my GAPS kid and we also believe he is vaccine injured. He's come a long way with an elimination/rotation diet from his DAN...but I'd like to heal his gut. We also did not pursue a label for him but are treating the causes of his symptoms. Your post about grieving who your child could have been and how this is who God planned for your child to be really struck a chord with me. It's something I have been struggling with (ALOT!) lately. You explained it very beautifully. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I love your blog and find it very helpful. :)

  2. Tiffany,

Thank you so very much for your very kind and encouraging words. This blog has two purposes: to log our journey for my own sake and to be helpful and encouraging to others who find themselves on a similar path. I am always very happy to know that our story has blessed another soul.
